Hot Shots, our Tennis Australia accredited program for ages 3 to 15, runs on weekly direct debit rather than one large upfront term payment, so families aren't asked to pay for a full ten week term in one hit. What the Hot Shots Challenge, Private Lessons and Holiday Camps Cost

Beyond weekly Hot Shots lessons, three other programs come up often enough that it's worth having every price in one place.

The Hot Shots Challenge is our in-house competition gala day for kids already enrolled in Hot Shots, $30 per child, or $25 per child if you're referring a friend along with you. It's a one-off cost per event rather than an ongoing commitment. Private lessons are $110 an hour for a single session, or $99 an hour if you book a 5 pack ($495) or 10 pack ($990). Shorter 30 or 45 minute sessions are available on request, useful for younger kids or for building confidence around one specific skill rather than a full hour.

Holiday tennis camps run $55 for a single half day, $85 for a single full day, or $299 for a full week, for ages 4 to 14. The full week works out meaningfully cheaper than booking five separate full days (five full days would cost $425), so if your child is likely to attend most of the week anyway, the week rate is the better value. The Active and Creative Kids Voucher in 2026: What Changed

The NSW Government's voucher program is now officially the combined Active and Creative Kids Voucher, rather than two separate schemes. Each eligible child receives two $50 vouchers a year, one from 15 January and one from 15 July, and families can put either voucher toward an active pursuit like tennis, a creative pursuit like music or art, or combine both toward a single activity that costs more than $50.

Who's Eligible and How to Apply

To be eligible, a child needs to be aged between 4.5 and 18, a NSW resident, and enrolled in school (traditional schooling, homeschooling, or secondary studies through TAFE NSW all count), with the family receiving Family Tax Benefit Part A and/or Part B.

Applications go through the Service NSW website or the Service NSW app, where eligibility is checked automatically against your family's details. Once you have your voucher code, you give it directly to us at registration, the $50 discount is applied on the spot, and there's no need to pay that portion upfront and claim it back later. Vouchers expire on the date printed on them, so it's worth applying and using yours reasonably promptly rather than assuming it'll still be valid later in the year.
