Scarborough Park Sports Centre
Tennis, basketball, pickleball, soccer and volleyball — all in one facility inside Leo Smith Reserve, Ramsgate Beach. Managed by Sydney Sports Management Group in partnership with Bayside Council, Scarborough Park offers court hire and coaching for every age and ability, seven days a week from 7am. Courts 1 and 2 are free community drop-in courts; Courts 3–6 are supervised and bookable online.

Kids Tennis

How do I book a court, and what does it cost?
Scarborough Park has 6 tennis courts, 8 pickleball courts, 3 basketball courts, plus 1 soccer court and 1 volleyball court, all bookable via the Book a Court page (minimum 60-minute bookings). Tennis is $30/hour off-peak (weekdays 7am–3pm) or $34/hour peak (weekdays 3pm–5pm and all weekend), capped at 2-hour bookings. Pickleball is $25/hour any time. Basketball is $70/hour any time.
What ages does Hot Shots cover, and how much does it cost?
Our Tennis Australia Hot Shots program runs from ages 3 to 15 — from Kinder through to Yellow Stage — with kids grouped by age and ability. Lessons start from $24.00/week for Kinder, fees are charged via direct debit, and Active Kids Vouchers are accepted for $50 off enrolment.
Can my child try a session before joining?
Yes — a free trial lesson is available for new players at no cost and no obligation. Just contact us or call (02) 8395 7788 to arrange a time.
What social and coaching sessions are on offer?
Alongside casual court hire ($25/hour), Scarborough Park runs Social Pickleball (all skill levels) on Saturdays 3:00pm–5:00pm and Sundays 8:30am–10:30am for $15, plus a Beginner Skills & Drills session with coaching at the same times for $20. Sessions are booked through the Play Pickle app.
How do parties work, and what's the price?
Parties run every Sunday in 2-hour slots (10am–12pm, 1pm–3pm, 4pm–6pm) and can be built around tennis, basketball or pickleball, with court hire, equipment and a qualified coach included. Pricing is $26.50 per participant for groups of 1–10, $24 for 11–20, and $21.50 for 21–30, with an optional sausage-sizzle-and-drink add-on for $10 per person.
Do you run programs for schools?
Yes — Scarborough Park offers school sport programs in tennis, basketball, pickleball, soccer and volleyball for both primary and secondary schools, with a bus service available. Enquire via the Schools page.
Where exactly is the centre, and what are the hours?
